MOSCOW, July 18 (Itar-Tass) — As the United Nations Security Council is discussing the situation in Syria, the Syrian militants are stepping up their terrorist activities.
“It’s a dangerous trend: when the U.N. Security Council is discussing ways of Syrian settlement, the militants are staging more terrorist acts, thwarting any attempts to solve the crisis,” Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov wrote in the Twitter on Wednesday.
A suicide bomber allegedly struck a building in Damascus where the National Security Council was meetingSyrian Defense Minister General Daoud Rajha was killed in the blast while other high-ranking officials were wounded.
