MOSCOW, September 7 (Itar-Tass) — The United States calls on Russia to carry on nuclear arms reductions, Acting Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Arms Control, Verification and Compliance Rose Gottemoeller said in Moscow on Friday.
She said it was necessary to create a new strategic environment based on confidence building measures. The diplomat also stressed the importance of transparency in visits to Russian and U.S. nuclear sites.
