PARIS, August 21. /ITAR-TASS/. The launch of a Russian Soyuz-ST-B rocket from the Guiana Space Center has been postponed due to unfavorable weather conditions, the European Space Agency (ESA) said on Thursday.

"Another launch date will be decided, depending on weather conditions in Kourou," the ESA said. A spokesperson for the European Commission told reporters in Brussels that the launch could take place on Friday or Saturday.

The rocket was supposed to orbit Europe's latest two Galileo satellites. Four satellites are already in orbit, launched in October 2011 and October 2012 respectively. The number of Galileo satellites is expected to reach 30 by 2018.
