MOSCOW, May 31. /TASS/. Ukrainian ex-servicewoman Nadezhda Savchenko’s release in exchange for Russian citizens was a right step, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in an interview with the Konsomolskaya Pravda website on Tuesday.
"I think it was right [to release Nadezhda Savchenko]. We had to get our citizens back home. And it was done," Lavrov said. "What if Savchenko does dirty things to us? And who can boast of not doing that to us in Ukraine?"
"Savchenko… let her be a headache for Ukraine. The girl is peculiar, fleshy, despite her hunger strike," he added.
