NOVO-OGARYOVO, June 25. /ITAR-TASS/. Re-settlers from Ukraine will be paid one-time monetary allowances, Russian Vice-Premier Dmitry Kozak said at President Vladimir Putin’s meeting with cabinet ministers on Wednesday.
It was decided to prepare proposals on granting one-time monetary allowances to people with an official refugee status by next Monday.
Kozak explained that Ukrainian banks were not working, and many of those who had come with bank cards could not simply withdraw the money. That is why one-time allowances will help them to stay afloat for some time.
“Besides, the Russian government has decided to give medical aid, including vaccination, to people coming from Ukraine. Naturally, the local authorities do not have this right. So, we are going to allocate the necessary resources,” Kozak said, adding vaccination would concern children in the first place.
