MOSCOW, February 24. /TASS/. Russia may launch a remote Earth sensing satellite for Iran at the end of 2018, the head of Space Monitoring Systems, Information & Control and Electromechanical Complexes (VNIIEM) said on Wednesday.
"We hope to sign the satellite launch contract by the middle of April. If the contract is signed, the launch may take place at the end of 2018," Leonid Macridenko said.
The preliminary agreement on the satellite launch was signed at the MAKS 2015 air show.
