Kiev mayoral elections are scheduled for May 25, simultaneously with Ukrainian presidential elections. Earlier, Klitschko openly refused from the presidential race and declared his intention to focus on the Kiev mayoral race, putting the issue of fighting corruption in the center of his electoral program.
The metropolitan election committee will accept documents for registration of mayoral candidates until April 30.
